Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions (“Terms”) before completing your registration for a myTOYOTA Wallet Account. These Terms govern your access to and use of myTOYOTA Wallet. By registering for a myTOYOTA Wallet Account or using the myTOYOTA Wallet application, you accept and agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions.

Please read the myTOYOTA Wallet Privacy Policy before using the myTOYOTA Wallet App. The Privacy Policy sets out the purpose and manner of the collection, processing, and sharing of your personal data when you use our services. If you do not understand or do not wish to be bound by these Terms or the Privacy Policy, do not proceed with accessing the myTOYOTA Wallet App and using its services.

TFSPH is required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, notices, and guidelines issued by the relevant government and regulatory authorities, including Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Circular No. 649, Terrorism Financing Prevention and Suppression Act of 2012, Republic Act No. 9160, Republic Act No. 9194 and Republic Act No. 10365 and BSP Circular Nos. 251, 253, 279, 527, 564, 608, 612 and 950, and all other amendatory and implementing law, regulation, jurisprudence, notice or order of any Philippine governmental body relating thereto.

Pursuant to such applicable laws, regulations, notices and guidelines, Applicant may be required to provide to TFSPH such data, and upgrade the account within the year, to allow it to establish and verify their identity both at the time of opening the myTOYOTA Wallet account, at periodic intervals after opening the account, and on ongoing basis.

Applicant(s) or Account Holder(s) agree(s) that he/she will cooperate in relation to any anti-money laundering and countering terrorism financing screening that is required and to assist TFSPH in complying with any applicable laws, regulations, notices and guidelines in place. The Applicant(s) or Account Holder(s) further agree(s) to abide by the Terms and Conditions herein stipulated. Otherwise, reasonable penalties and/or sanction(s) may be imposed, including but not limited to charges, suspension or termination of the account and, if the circumstances warrant, proper reporting to regulatory agency(ies) for violation of laws, rules and regulations.

1. Definition and Interpretation:

Unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions shall have the following meaning: 1.1 “Applicant” means any person or entity through its authorized representative, who wants to avail myTOYOTA Wallet services. Individual applicant should at least be 21 years of age, otherwise, parental consent is necessary. 1.2 “Account Holder“ means the person or entity, including its authorized representative, whose myTOYOTA Wallet account has been approved, created, and activated, and who is responsible for all transactions, activities, and obligations associated with the account. 1.3 “Basic User” refers to myTOYOTA Wallet user that has all the basic functions of the applications. 1.4 “Biller” refers to TFSPH and or any of its accredited merchant/company that is authorized to process recurring enrollment and payments. 1.5 “Cash In” refers to electronically adding e-money to myTOYOTA Wallet. 1.6 “Cash Out” refers to the usage of e-money in myTOYOTA Wallet for payment of goods and/or services. 1.7 “Cooling Off” means the required waiting period before certain account changes take effect, intended to help prevent unauthorized or fraudulent updates. 1.8 “Credit Card” means credit card(s) by the Account Holder designated to be linked to myTOYOTA Wallet, which may be used to pay for the goods and/or services. 1.9 “Data Subject” means an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. 1.10 “Deactivate” or “Deactivation” refers to the suspension, disabling, or termination of your access to the myTOYOTA Wallet Account or any of its features, whether initiated by you or by TFSPH, resulting in the inability to perform transactions or use wallet services until reactivated in accordance with Company policies. 1.11 “Debit Card” means debit card(s) by the Account Holder designated to be linked to myTOYOTA Wallet, which may be used to pay for the goods and/or services. 1.12 “Device” means mobile phones and/or any other devices prescribed by TFSPH to accomplish the Transaction. 1.13 “Dynamic QR Code” type of Quick Response code that is generated by the recipient in real-time and contains transaction-specific information and amount in sending money or making a payment. 1.14 “E-Money” means an electronically stored monetary value that is maintained in a non-interest-bearing non-deposit transaction account, pre-funded by customers to enable payment transactions and accepted as means of payment by the accredited entities. 1.15 “E-Wallet” means an e-money instrument that stores Philippine Peso (Php) value which resides in the myTOYOTA Wallet system. 1.16 “Favorites” refers to the feature that allows myTOYOTA Wallet users to save frequently used recipients for faster and more convenient access to future transfers. Sender can add favorites directly from a successful fund transfer transaction slip or by entering a mobile number. 1.17 “Force Majeure” means any unforeseeable events or circumstances beyond the control of and which prevent TFSPH from fulfilling its contractual obligations, such as but not limited to malfunction of TFSPH’s computer system or communication system, computer virus or harmful not attributable to TFSPH’s failure to maintain its computer system. 1.18 “Incoming Limit” refers to the maximum amount of funds that can be added or received in myTOYOTA Wallet per month. 1.19 “KYC (Know Your Customer)” refers to the process of verifying the identity of applicants. It is a key component of the anti-money laundering (AML) framework and helps prevent fraud, corruption, and terrorist financing. 1.20 “Merchant” refers to any business establishment(s) that accept(s) myTOYOTA Wallet as a mode of payment for goods and/or services. 1.21 “myTOYOTA Wallet” means the Applicant(s) or Account Holder(s) digital mobile payment application being handled and managed by TFSPH, which is linked to his/her Debit or Credit Card and/or the e-wallet available upon approval of the Application; which then may be used to pay for goods and/or services. 1.22 “Outgoing Limit” refers to the maximum amount of funds that can be used for payment when using myTOYOTA Wallet per month. 1.23 “Passkey Authentication” refers to the authentication of access to myTOYOTA Wallet using a digital credential tied to a user account wherein the Account Holder’s browser or operating system will help him/her select and use the right passkey for myTOYOTA Wallet. To make sure only the rightful owner can use a passkey, the system will ask the Account Holder’s to unlock his/her device with a biometric sensor (such as a fingerprint or facial recognition), PIN, or pattern. 1.24 “Payee” means a person or entity who uses Merchant/Biller Acceptance of Payment Service with TFSPH and agrees to receive payment for the goods and/or services from the Account Holder through myTOYOTA Wallet. 1.25 “Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. 1.26 “Personal Security Code” means Login Name, Username, Password, PIN (Personal Identification Number), One Time Password (OTP), underlying algorithm from biometric and/or any other codes or authentication information or any information elicited from any access function that will be used to access myTOYOTA Wallet Service(s). 1.27 “Processing of Personal Data” means any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure or destruction. 1.28 “Recipient” refers to the individual who accepts or is credited with funds through another myTOYOTA wallet. 1.29 “Recurring Payment” refers to a payment arrangement between the Account Holder and the Biller that authorizes the Biller to automatically deduct funds at predetermined intervals from the Account Holder’s nominated account for the goods and/or services provided to them on an ongoing basis. 1.30 “Sender” refers to the individual who initiates a transfer of funds to another myTOYOTA Wallet. 1.31 “Send Money” refers to the feature that enables users to electronically transfer funds from their myTOYOTA Wallet account to another myTOYOTA Wallet account. 1.32 “Static QR Code” type of Quick Response code that contains fixed payment or recipient’s information when sending money. 1.33 “Suspend” or “Suspension” refers to the temporary restriction or disabling of your myTOYOTA Wallet Account or any of its features, whether initiated by you or by the Company, during which access and transactions may be limited until the Suspension is lifted. 1.34. “Transaction” means any instructions, record or transactions initiated by the Account Holder(s) authorizing TFSPH to (a) debit funds from his/her debit or credit card saved in myTOYOTA Wallet or (b) use his/her e-wallet to pay for the goods and/or services to the designated Payee. 1.35 “Transaction Limit” refers to the maximum amount per user type that can be used for payment of goods and/or services using the credit or debit card payment feature of myTOYOTA Wallet. This includes the e-wallet feature for Upgraded Users. 1.36 “Trusted Device” refers to a single device that has been verified and registered as belonging to an authorized User, allowing secure access to a myTOYOTA Wallet account and its features. 1.37 “TFSPH” means Toyota Financial Services Philippines Corporation who issues e-money, and licensed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and/or any officer(s) or employee(s) duly authorized to act for and on behalf of TFSPH. 1.38 “Upgraded User” refers to the Upgraded Users of myTOYOTA Wallet that has all the upgraded functions of the application. 1.39 “Unauthorize Transaction” refers to any transaction made through your myTOYOTA Wallet Account that you did not initiate, permit, or consent to, whether caused by fraud, misuse, or any other unauthorized access. 1.40 “Wallet Limit” refers to the maximum amount allowed per user type that can be electronically stored in myTOYOTA Wallet per month using the Upgraded User’s e-wallet feature.

2. Use and Safekeeping of Device, Personal Security Code, Password, Personal and other Data

2.1 The Applicant or Account Holder shall keep the Device, Personal Security Code, Password, Personal and other data confidential and shall not disclose or do any acts that may compromise its confidential nature, nor allow other person(s) to be in possession of the same that would result to any unauthorized access. 2.2 The Applicant or Account Holder shall assume full responsibility and liability for any transaction made in his/her myTOYOTA Wallet Account. 2.3 The Applicant or Account Holder may change Personal Security Code at any time in accordance with the procedures, means and conditions prescribed by TFSPH. 2.4. The Applicant or Account Holder shall immediately notify or request TFSPH for the seizure or suspension of transaction and/or the use of the Account Holder’s Personal Security Code or use of myTOYOTA Wallet in case of its loss or damage, which shall be granted and processed upon proper verification. All the cost and/or expenses incurred for the suspension of the transaction and/or use of myTOYOTA Wallet shall be for the account of the Applicant. 2.5. The Applicant or Account Holder shall immediately notify TFSPH through the official Customer Care channels in the event of the loss, theft, damage, unauthorized access, or compromise of any of the following:

  •  The mobile device used to access myTOYOTA Wallet;
  •  The SIM card linked to the myTOYOTA Wallet account;
  •  Any credit or debit card linked to the Account Holder’s myTOYOTA Wallet;
Any other device registered as a Trusted Device. 2.6. TFSPH shall notify the Account Holder via email and/or SMS whenever the user’s myTOYOTA Wallet account is deactivated, suspended, or otherwise restricted. The notification will provide relevant details and guidance on how the user may contact TFSPH to resolve the matter. The Account Holder is responsible for ensuring that their registered mobile number and email address remain active and up to date. 2.7. The Account Holder(s) hereby agree(s), however, that all transactions made prior to the seizure or suspension of the use of myTOYOTA Wallet shall be considered binding and validly consummated in all respects.

3. Use of myTOYOTA Wallet Service(s):

3.1. myTOYOTA Wallet and related services may be used and availed of by the Account Holder’s upon registration and application in accordance with the process and procedure prescribed and approved by TFSPH. Processing of all transaction(s) related to myTOYOTA Wallet shall be under the discretion and sound judgment of TFSPH.

Upon approval, the Applicant(s) or Account Holder(s) agree(s) to be bound by the Terms and Conditions for each, and every transaction(s) initiated by the Applicant(s) or Account Holder(s), which shall form an integral part hereof.
3.2. The Applicant(s) or Account Holder(s) undertakes to provide true, accurate and current registration information and evidence such as identity documentation as may be requested by TFSPH and agrees not to use fictitious name or alias. The Account Holder is responsible in ensuring his/her registration information is up to date and promptly notifying TFSPH in the event of any changes to the same. 3.2.1 To upgrade an account, KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is mandatory. The applicant must provide the following information:

  •  Full name (First, Middle, Last) (as stated in the ID to be provided)
  •  Date of birth
  •  Place of birth
  •  Permanent and present address
  •  Nationality
  •  Type of identification document
  •  Identification number
  •  Gender
  •  Clear images of the front and back of the ID
  •  A selfie holding the ID
  •  Nature of work
  •  Source of funds
  •  Salary range
3.3. Only the face value of myTOYOTA Wallet e-money may be redeemed. It cannot be purchased at a discount, nor can it receive rewards, interest or other comparable incentives that can be converted to cash. Since the e-money is not considered as deposit, the same is not under the protection nor insured with PDIC's insurance. 3.4. The Account Holder may use the following functions of myTOYOTA Wallet Service, to wit: 3.4.1 To make payment for the goods and/or services. 3.4.2. In no way shall the Account Holder be allowed to withdraw cash directly from the myTOYOTA Wallet, nor to transfer fund to other electronic wallet. 3.4.3. The Account Holder shall be allowed to use e-wallet services wherein he/she can store and add funds or pay for transactions. 3.4.4 Use of passkey authentication for financial transactions. 3.4.5 The Account Holder may be requested to upgrade/verify his/her account. 3.4.6 The Account Holder must verify the email address used during account registration within 30 Calendar days. If the email address is not verified within this period, TFSPH has the right to automatically prompt the Account Holder to complete the email verification. 3.4.7 Cash-in can be processed through top-ups from banks or other e-wallets; any necessary fees shall be shouldered by the customer. 3.4.8 Cash out shall refer to payment to merchant or send money to other myTOYOTA Wallet. Withdrawal of fund(s) is not allowed. 3.4.9 Account Holder agrees to check for update(s) and will download such update(s) to myTOYOTA Wallet before he/she can access any new functions that may appear on the myTOYOTA Wallet app and/or on the Appstore. 3.4.10 Making payments for the goods and/or services, TFSPH shall immediately debit the amount corresponding to the good(s) and/or service(s) from the credit or debit card stored in the myTOYOTA wallet or from the e-wallet balance depending on the user’s preference. For basic account, card annual transaction limit is Php 100,000.00 and Php 1,200,000.00 for upgraded account, unless changed by TFSPH in its own judgment and discretion. For the e-wallet feature, the limit is Php 100,000 per month for upgraded account. The system shall automatically cancel the payment transaction in the event the credit or debit card or the e-wallet balance is insufficient to cover the amount of goods and/or services subject of the transaction. 3.4.11 The Applicant or Account Holder hereby releases, discharges and holds TFSPH or any of its employee(s) or officer(s) free from and against any claim, demand, action, damage, loss, cost, liability or expenses as a result of any delay in processing the debit, credit card or e-wallet payment. 3.4.12 All payment and fund transfer transactions made through myTOYOTA Wallet are subject to TFSPH’s transaction risk analysis protocols, and TFSPH has the right to delay, restrict, suspend, or deny any transaction if suspicious, unusual, or unauthorized activity is detected. TFSPH may review device information, location signals, behavioral patterns, and transaction history, and may require additional verification as needed. 3.4.13 TFSPH may lock or restrict a Customer’s account when suspicious activity, potential account compromise, or other securityrelated concerns are identified. While the account is locked, the Customer may be unable to log in, access the application, or conduct Wallet transactions. The Customer may request unlocking through TFSPH Customer Care, subject to identity confirmation or additional security check. 3.4.14 Upon the Account Holder’s request through TFSPH Customer Care, TFSPH may place a temporary hold on Account Holder ‘s eWallet balance. During the hold, the Account Holder will be unable to use, transfer, or perform any transactions involving the held balance. The hold shall remain in effect until the Account Holder formally requests its removal and completes any required verification. 3.4.15 TFSPH may, at its discretion, place a temporary hold on part or all of the Account Holder’s eWallet balance to comply with regulations or address suspected unauthorized or irregular activity. During the hold, the Account Holder cannot use, transfer, withdraw, or conduct any transactions involving the held balance. The hold will remain until TFSPH confirms that the issue has been resolved and any required verification is completed. 3.4.16 TFSPH may independently place a temporary hold on part or all an Account Holder’s balance to:
  •  Comply with regulatory requirements, or
  •  Address suspected unauthorized or irregular activity.
During such a hold, the Account Holder cannot use, transfer, withdraw, or transact with the held balance. The hold remains until TFSPH completes investigation and verification. 3.4.17 which allows TFSPH to place a temporary hold on an Account Holder’s e wallet balance when there is suspected unauthorized or irregular activity. This includes system detected events such as:
  •  login attempts originating from outside the Philippines,
  •  monetary transactions initiated from outside the Philippines,
  •  multiple failed OTP or verification attempts,
  •  rapid transactions immediately following a password change, and
  •  high value transfers made using a new or unrecognized device.
3.5. The Account Holder likewise agrees to indemnify and hold TFSPH or any of its employee(s) or officer(s) harmless against any damage(s) that may be incurred or sustained by third party(ies) as a result of the use of myTOYOTA Wallet which is contrary to law, public order or good morals, such as but not limited to; gambling, weapon trade, terrorism and the like transactions. 3.6 To make payment(s) for the goods and/or services by using credit/debit card. 3.6.1 To add credit/debit card, the Account Holder shall fill in their credit/debit card information and proceed with the registration process prescribed by TFSPH. 3.6.2 In making payment transaction for the goods and/or services by using credit/debit card through the myTOYOTA Wallet, TFSPH shall utilize the credit/debit amount of credit/debit card for such transaction. For basic accounts, the amount for payment for transaction(s) per year shall be limited only to a maximum amount of Php 100,000.00 and Php 1,200,000.00 for upgraded accounts. Transactions exceeding the set limit will be declined. Account Holder agrees that TFSPH may verify and authorize the details of the source of fund or details of the credit/debit card. The system shall automatically cancel the payment transaction in the event of insufficiency of the credit/debit card limit to cover the amount of goods and/or services subject of the transaction. 3.7 To make payment(s) for the goods and/or services by using e-money. 3.7.1 The Applicant shall proceed with the registration process prescribed by TFSPH. Only upgraded accounts will have the e-wallet function. 3.7.2 When the Account Holder makes a payment transaction for the goods and/or services by using an e-wallet, TFSPH shall utilize the amount electronically stored in myTOYOTA Wallet. For upgraded accounts, the amount for payment for transaction(s) per month shall be limited only to a maximum amount of Php 100,000.00. Transactions exceeding the set limit will be declined. Account Holder agrees that TFSPH may verify and authorize the details of the source of fund. The system shall automatically cancel the payment transaction in the event of insufficiency of the amount to cover the amount of goods and/or services subject of the transaction. 3.8 To send and receive money from other myTOYOTA Wallet accounts. 3.8.1 The account must be active, upgraded, and verified to perform money transfer transactions. 3.8.2 When sending money, users have the option to use either a static QR code, a dynamic QR code, or a mobile number. 3.8.3 Transaction Limits for the “Send Money” Feature
  •  The maximum allowable amount per “Send Money” transaction is Php 50,000.00. Once a user reaches the monthly outgoing transfer limit of Php 100,000.00, no further fund transfers shall be permitted for the remainder of the calendar month. Likewise, if the recipient has reached the monthly incoming transfer limit of Php 100,000.00, they shall no longer be eligible to receive additional funds until the limit resets.
  •  To check the Wallet Limits in myTOYOTA Wallet: Go to Profile > Wallet Limits
3.8.4 ‘Send Money’ transactions are irrevocable.
  •  Once a ‘Send Money’ transaction is completed, it cannot be reversed. The Sender is solely responsible for ensuring that the mobile number or QR code provided corresponds to the intended recipient. TFPSH shall not be held liable for any losses resulting from incorrect recipient details.
3.8.5 Location Access Requirement
  •  Users must grant location access during the transaction process to verify physical presence and prevent unauthorized remote transactions. Transactions will not proceed if location access is disabled.
3.8.6. Trusted Device Requirement
    Transactions must be initiated from a trusted device that has been previously registered and authenticated. Unrecognized devices will not be allowed to proceed and use any features in the application.
3.9. To add favorite in myTOYOTA Wallet. 3.9.1 To add a favorite account of another myTOYOTA Wallet, it must be active and upgraded. 3.9.2 Users may add, update, or delete favorite recipients through transaction slips, the homepage interface, or the Manage List section within the application. 3.10. Authorization Hold 3.10.1 In order to verify the payment method via credit or debit card, the Account Holder agrees that TFSPH may opt to issue an authorization hold, in a reasonable amount of Php 50.00. This is a preventive measure against any unauthorized or fraudulent usage of an Account Holder’s card. The hold may appear in the Account Holder’s billing as “pending”. 3.10.2 In the event the payment through myTOYOTA Wallet is made to an overseas merchant(s) in a currency other than Philippine Peso, the Account Holder shall be liable for any additional charges by the issuing bank in relation thereto, since the authorization hold subject of this provision is limited only to Philippine Peso. 3.10.3 In the event the payment through myTOYOTA Wallet is made to an overseas merchant(s) in a currency other than Philippine Peso, the same shall be subject to the applicable foreign exchange rate at the time of the payment, in accordance with this Terms and Conditions. 3.11. Electronic Enrollment under myTOYOTA Wallet Recurring Payment Facility
The Account Holder may enroll in myTOYOTA Wallet Recurring Payment ("the Facility") and authorizes the Biller to automatically deduct from their nominated myTOYOTA Wallet Account the amount necessary to pay his/her bill(s) to the Biller.
Upon such enrollment, the Account Holder agrees, acknowledges, understands, warrants, represents and/or gives his/her consent to the following Terms and Conditions.
3.11.1 Be bound by and comply with the myTOYOTA Wallet Terms and Conditions governing its Products, Services, the Account, and the use of the Facility. 3.11.2 Authorize TFSPH and/or any of its Accredited Biller to debit his/her enrolled myTOYOTA Wallet account for the amount due to TFSPH and/or any of its Accredited Biller. TFSPH shall then remit the debited funds to the Billers. 3.11.3 Authorize TFSPH, to disclose and share information with the Biller, such as but not limited to the existence and status of the Account Holder’s myTOYOTA Wallet account, his/her e-wallet limit/balance, enrollment details, cancellation of enrollment, reason for failed payment and/or to address any complaints filed or inquiries made by the Account Holder. This disclosure or sharing of information is permitted only to the extent necessary to enable TFSPH to fulfill its contractual obligations under or in connection with the provision or implementation of the Facility. 3.11.4 To process all information relating to, in connection with or arising from the Facility. Processing including but not limited to the:
  • (i) To collect and process personal data and/or information which shall include the use, loading and consolidation.
  • (ii) Disclosure and sharing of information with any of the following entities:
    • (a) TFSPH, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and related interests, both domestic and foreign, including its Accredited Billers, to perform its authorized functions under this agreement
    • (b) To any judicial, governmental, supervisory, regulatory, body(ies) or institution(s) in the Philippines or other jurisdictions, as may be required.
3.11.5 Warrant and represent that he/she has obtained all necessary authorizations and consents, as may be required by applicable confidentiality and data privacy laws, prior to providing any information (including personal data) of any individual. 3.11.6 Maintain sufficient and readily available funds in their designated Account to cover all amounts due and payable to the Biller. In the event of a discrepancy between the billed amount and the amount debited from the Account, the discrepancy shall be resolved between the Account Holder and the Biller. 3.11.7 The enrollment in the Facility for payments to the Biller may be subject to Biller's approval. 3.11.8 To hold TFSPH harmless from and against all complaints or disputes arising from or caused by the merchandise and/or services provided by the Accredited Biller which is/are the sole responsibility and should be directly addressed to the accredited Biller. 3.11.9 The enrollment in the Facility will automatically terminate if the Biller is unable to debit the required amount due to (1) account closure, (2) garnishment of funds, and/or (3) any of the circumstances stated in the myTOYOTA Wallet Terms and Conditions for suspension and/or cancellation of service. 3.11.10 Termination of his/her enrollment is in accordance with the Biller's cancellation procedures.Upon cancellation/termination of enrollment, the Account Holder 's ability to re-enroll requires prior approval from the Biller, subject to the same terms and conditions applicable to new enrollments. 3.11.11 An immediate processing of payments to fulfill his/her financial obligations to the Biller, upon utilizing the facility, for the benefits of both the Account Holder and the Biller. 3.11.12 The Biller has the sole responsibility for issuing official receipts upon the Account Holder 's request. The transaction history, reflecting a debit to the Account Holder 's myTOYOTA Wallet, constitutes the evidence of payment provided by myTOYOTA Wallet. 3.11.13 To indemnify and hold TFSPH free and harmless from all liabilities, suits, damages, claims of whatever kind and nature, expenses, fees and costs that may arise from, or in connection with, the processing of account information maintained with the TFSPH and implementation of the Facility. 3.11.14 TFSPH shall not be responsible or liable for any delay, non-performance, or failure to perform any of its obligations under this Facility and/or any other circumstances beyond TFSPH’s control including but not limited to; natural calamities, civil disturbance(s), accident(s) or disruption, and/or labor disputes. 3.11.15 To indemnify and hold TFSPH free and harmless, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents, service providers and such other persons or entities engaged by TFSPH or any liability, costs, damages, claims, losses or dispute arising from or in connection with the implementation of this Facility, except in the case of TFSPH’s gross negligence, willful misconduct or bad faith. 3.12 To refund or to cancel payment for the goods and/or services. 3.12.1 In the event that the Account Holder has made a payment for the goods and/or services to the Payee exceeds the actual amount to be paid, or the Account Holder wishes to cancel the payment transaction for the goods and/or services made through e-wallet, the Account Holder shall notify the merchant/biller and/or the credit or debit card issuer and comply with the procedures prescribed by them in order for the Payee to proceed with the refund or the cancellation of such transaction. In this regard, the Account Holder shall proceed with the cancellation of transaction within the execution date of such payment transaction only, and when such refund or such cancellation made by the Payee is successful, the issuing Bank will refund to Account Holder’s credit or debit card used or by TFSPH to the e-wallet. 3.12.2 The Account Holder shall not make payment through e-wallet for any debts which do not arise from the purchase of goods and/or services from the Payee. 3.12.3 TFSPH shall return undue credit to the Account Holder in the event of any system error. 3.13 How to check transaction reports of myTOYOTA Wallet. 3.13.1 The Account Holder may check the outstanding fund in myTOYOTA Wallet and each payment transaction through any of the following: (i) the function for checking transaction report; (ii) function for notification on Application; or (iii) through any other channels to be prescribed by TFSPH. 3.14 How to manage myTOYOTA Wallet. 3.14.1 A Basic User shall be allowed to have a myTOYOTA Wallet account. It shall allow linking of not more than three (3) debit and/or credit card(s), which the Account Holder undertakes that said card(s) is/are under his/her name. He/She, however, may change his/her linked card(s) upon compliance with the required terms and procedure which may be read under Frequently Asked Questions. 3.14.2 An existing Basic User may choose to apply as an Upgraded User to be able to use the upgraded functions of the application. 3.14.3 An Upgraded User shall only be allowed to have one (1) myTOYOTA Wallet upgraded account. 3.14.4 A Basic or Upgraded user may change their email address; however, a cooling off period of seventy-two hours (72 hours) will apply to this process, as required under the BSP’s AFASA framework. The duration of this cooling-off period is subject to change in accordance with regulatory guidelines. 3.14.5  Any and all fees, service charges, cost or expenses pertaining to the use of myTOYOTA Wallet, including any applicable tax(es) and such other governmental or regulatory charges shall be for the account of the User.

4. Representations, Warranties, Acceptance and Binding Effect

4.1. Terms and Conditions herein provided constitute valid, legal and binding obligations of the Account Holder(s) and fully enforceable against him/her in accordance with its terms.

All information, document(s) and/or personal data heretofore or hereinafter furnished or transmitted by the Account Holder(s) to TFSPH are true and correct in all material aspects and shall not be misleading nor omit material facts and to regularly update the same as necessary. Account Holder is responsible to provide accurate registration information and for keeping such registration information up to date or notifying TFSPH in the event of changes.

The Account Holder warrants that he/she has the legal personality, capacity and legal rights to carry on to this transaction and/or to use myTOYOTA Wallet as represented to TFSPH, and/or enter upon and satisfactory fulfill his/her obligations under the Terms and Conditions herein provided. Should additional information, document(s) and/or data be required by TFSPH, the Account Holder s likewise warrant prompt delivery, execution and compliance thereof.
4.2. Any acts of and/or permitted act(s) made by the Account Holder(s) pertaining to myTOYOTA Wallet service using Personal Security Code shall be deemed accurate, valid and binding in all respects without having the Account Holder to sign any or additional documents. 4.3. Account Holder is not allowed to change, withhold or cancel transaction upon submission of such transaction to TFSPH through the use of myTOYOTA Wallet. 4.4. Account Holder recognizes the right of TFSPH to modify and/or amend any of the Terms and Conditions herein indicated, which may include fees, charges, cost and/or expenses in relation to the use of myTOYOTA Wallet. In such an event, TFSPH shall notify the Account Holder through letter, electronic mail or any other means, at least thirty (30) days prior to its effectiveness. Failure on the part of the Account Holder to comment on the notice to modify or amend any or all the Terms and Conditions within fifteen (15) days from receipt thereof, the same will be deemed an acceptance without objection and TFSPH shall proceed with its implementation. 4.5. The Account Holder agrees to be bound by and comply with regulations, Terms and Conditions including user guide and related documents containing the procedures on how to use the services provided by TFSPH, which have been received or shall be deemed to have received by the Account Holder on or prior to the execution date. 4.6. In the event of error or malfunction in using the myTOYOTA Wallet, the Account Holder shall immediately notify TFSPH through the Customer Care Hotline: (02) 7-757-8500 or Domestic Toll-Free (PLDT) at 1-800-10-857-8500 or through email, walletsupport@toyotafinancial.ph and provide the details of the transaction(s) and/or any and all information relative to the error or malfunction. TFSPH shall then validate the same and conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause and shall rectify the same in a timely manner. Once available, TFSPH shall inform the Account Holder of the result of the investigation through any of the available means, deemed substantial under the circumstances. 4.7. The Account Holder(s) agree(s) to indemnify TFSPH for all kinds of damages it may suffer, by reason of the unauthorized use of the services violative of the Terms and Conditions hereof; and/or for breach of any of the rights of TFSPH.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1. TFSPH shall in no way be responsible for any claim for damages for whatever reason(s) not attributable to TFSPH and/or if the acts done by TFSPH is in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and/or done based on the data and/or information provided by the Account Holder to TFSPH. 5.2. The Account Holder acknowledges and agrees that TFSPH shall not be liable for any error or malfunction in the use of myTOYOTA Wallet service due to the Account Holder’s failure to properly use the Device for transaction execution and/ or for failure to use TFSPH's Application service due to Force Majeure and/or any other circumstances beyond TFSPH's control including but not limited to; natural calamities, civil disturbance(s), accident(s) or disruption, and/or labor disputes. 5.3. The Account Holder shall endeavor to resolve should there be a dispute with the Payee and/or any person or entity relative to the use of myTOYOTA Wallet service(s), without requiring participation from TFSPH. 5.4. TFSPH shall not be held liable, and the Account Holder(s) hold TFSPH free from any and all direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages whatsoever resulting from Account Holder’s use of, or Account Holder’s inability to use the Services and/or as consequence(s) of the following event(s); to wit:

  • (i) Unauthorized payment by the Account Holder(s) due to theft, unauthorized use and the like, though payment was authorized by the Merchant;
  • (ii) Refusal on the part of any financial institution(s) and/or merchant(s) to honor or accept the transaction(s) notwithstanding sufficiency of balance in the myTOYOTA Wallet.
  • (iii) Account Holder’s use of or Account Holder’s inability to use the services;
5.5. Applicant(s) or Account Holder(s) acknowledge(s) and agree(s) that TFSPH makes no warranties nor representation whatsoever and shall not be liable nor responsible for the availability, completeness, accuracy or non-infringement of all services, or its contents, product(s) being rendered or offered by third-party;

6. Suspension and/or Cancellation of the Provision of Service

6.1 The Account Holder acknowledges the right of TFSPH to suspend or cancel temporarily or otherwise, without incurring any liability(ies) for loss or damages, all types of services of myTOYOTA Wallet with or without prior notice, under any of the following circumstances, to wit:

  • (i) If myTOYOTA Wallet is being used for illegal or immoral purpose(s);
  • (ii) If the Account Holder fails to comply with the Terms and Conditions herein provided;
  • (iii) If there has been an abuse or improper use of myTOYOTA Wallet;
  • (iv) The personal data submitted by the Account Holder are incomplete, inaccurate or false;
  • (v) If the Account Holder becomes insolvent, place under receivership or seizure or attachment of property;
  • (vi) If so, directed by Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), government instrumentality(ies), court of competent jurisdiction, and/or regulatory body(ies) or agency(ies);
  • (vii) Any other circumstances germane or analogous to the foregoing.
6.2 The Account Holder may, however, terminate or cancel the use of any type of services of myTOYOTA Wallet with prior seven (7) day written notice to TFSPH. Prior to the actual date of cancellation or termination, TFSPH is still entitled to debit from myTOYOTA Wallet or from the linked card(s) of the Account Holder such fees, service charges or expenses pertaining to the use of myTOYOTA Wallet in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

7. Collection, Use, Sharing or Disclosure of Personal Data or Information

7.1. The Account Holder hereby authorizes and gives full consent to TFSPH to do any or all of the following:

  • (i) Collection and processing of personal data and/or information, which shall include the use, loading, and consolidation of such data, for the purpose of verifying the user’s identity, enabling the provision of myTOYOTA Wallet services, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and supporting the effective delivery and improvement of related services.
  • (ii) Outsourcing of the processing of personal data and/or information to accredited service providers, whether within or outside the Philippines or engagement of service providers/external parties by TFSPH, whether based within or outside the Philippines and such other persons or entities that TFSPH may deem necessary or appropriate including, but not limited to, collection, marketing and promotions purposes.
  • (iii) Verification or validation of personal data and/or information from any and all sources and in any reasonable manner, including but not limited to, credit information or investigation companies, credit bureaus (including, but not limited to, the Credit Information Corporation (CIC) pursuant to Republic Act No. 9510 and its implementing rules and regulations), financial institutions, consumer reporting or reference agencies, credit protection providers/agencies, brokers, insurers, underwriters, Toyota/Lexus dealers, Toyota Motor Philippines, outsourced/third-party providers under a valid and existing agreement, and other relevant entities, courts or government or administrative agencies or arbitral tribunals on the status of any case or proceeding to which the Account Holder is a party.
  • (iv) Sharing of personal data within the GT Capital and Toyota Group, subsidiaries and affiliates of TFSPH, Toyota Motor Philippines, Toyota/Lexus dealers, and other brand affiliates, and other relevant entities under a valid and existing agreement for purposes of outsourcing or vendor management activities relative to this application.
    •  Processing and sharing of information including updates or corrections, if any, shall cover submission and/or disclosure of relevant credit data to any government agency/instrumentality as required and/or authorized under existing laws, rules and regulations and the authority to share/disclose shall also extend to other lenders.
7.2. The Applicant or Account Holder understands and agrees that any personal data he/she provides will be processed in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and the Privacy Policy of TFSPH: https://www.toyotafinancial.ph/privacy-policy. Sharing, process and/or disclosure of personal data and/or information shall be done strictly in compliance with Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of the 2012 (“Data Privacy Act”) and shall not apply to the following:
  • (i) Already known at the time of the disclosure/access without an obligation of confidentiality;
  • (ii) Becomes publicly known through no unauthorized act of the parties;
  • (iii) Lawfully received from a third party through no restriction or breach of this Terms and Conditions.
Without TFSPH's gross negligence, willful misconduct or bad faith, the Account Holder hereby holds TFSPH and its officer(s), employee(s) or agent(s) free and harmless from any and all liabilities, claims, damages and suits of whatever kind and nature, that may arise in connection with the implementation and compliance with the authorization herein conferred.
7.3. The Account Holder understands and agrees that myTOYOTA Wallet utilizes a Device Data Collection and Security Technology embedded within the application for the purpose of enhancing security, preventing fraud, validating device integrity, and ensuring safe and compliant use of the myTOYOTA Wallet services. By continuing to use the myTOYOTA Wallet application, the Account Holder hereby consents to the collection and processing of device related information as set forth below:
  •  Device identifiers (e.g., device model, operating system version, unique device signals)
  •  Network information (e.g., IP address, network type, carrier details)
  •  Device integrity and security indicators (e.g., jailbreak/root status, emulator detection, tamper detection)
  •  Application performance, diagnostic, and behavioral information.
  •  Location information when required for verification or fraud detection.

8. Contact Details and Notices

8.1. Any or all notice(s), communications and/or correspondence, such as but not limited to, promos, advertisements, rewards, offers, customer care and support, after sales communications, may be sent via email, SMS, messaging applications (e.g. Viber, Whatsapp, etc.) or mail personally or thru courier to the home/email address(es) or contact number provided by the Account Holder in the application for myTOYOTA Wallet services, unless another address or contact number is formally communicated in writing to TFSPH. The Account Holder shall be deemed to have received any communication, notice, and demand or summons after the lapse of seven (7) days from the date the same is sent by mail at such address, or two (2) days if thru SMS or email, unless satisfactory proof to the contrary is presented.

9. Customer Complaints

9.1. Should the Account Holder wish to make a complaint or grievance(s), including cancellation of account, Account Holder(s) are encouraged to contact TFSPH through the Customer Care Hotline: (02) 7-757-8500 or Domestic Toll-Free (PLDT) at 1-800-10-857-8500 or through email, walletsupport@toyotafinancial.ph

10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines. Any dispute or any transaction hereunder shall be settled by consultations in good faith between the Account Holder and TFSPH. If no settlement is reached, any legal action or proceedings with respect to such dispute shall be brought before the proper court of Makati City, Philippines, to the exclusion of any other court.

11. Inactivity and Dormancy

11.1. The myTOYOTA Wallet shall be considered as INACTIVE and DORMANT under any of the following circumstances, namely:

  • (i) myTOYOTA Wallet does not have any financial transaction for at least 1 year from date of last transaction.
  • (ii) myTOYOTA Wallet that remains inactive for five (5) years from the last financial transaction initiated shall be deemed DORMANT and TFSPH shall reserve the right to charge a dormancy fee (Php30.00 per month) and limit the Account’s functions.
  • (iii) myTOYOTA Wallet may be zeroed out because of fees charged. Consequently, TFSPH has the right and discretion to close or terminate the account pursuant to the applicable law(s), rules and regulations.

11.2. The Account Holder may, however, claim the Dormant Account by undergoing and passing KYC process(es) which will be conducted by TFSPH for the purpose.

12. Account Deactivation

12.1. myTOYOTA Wallet may deactivate myTOYOTA Wallet Account whenever it deems necessary or appropriate, including for security, regulatory, or policy-related reasons. The Account Holder may also request the deactivation of their myTOYOTA Wallet at any time, subject to verification and approval.

12.2. Once deactivated, the Account Holder may request reactivation, which shall be subject to myTOYOTA Wallet’s review and applicable requirements. Certain features may be limited or unavailable until reactivation is completed

12.3. The Account Holder agrees that deactivation may affect access to services linked to the Wallet. The User is responsible for ensuring that no pending transactions remain prior to requesting deactivation.

12.4. myTOYOTA Wallet shall not be liable for any inconvenience or loss resulting from a deactivation requested by the Account Holder or initiated due to security or compliance requirements, unless such loss is proven to be directly caused by gross negligence on the part of myTOYOTA Wallet.

13. Amends for Account Suspension and Deactivation

13.1. You acknowledge that myTOYOTA Wallet has the right to suspend or deactivate your Wallet account depending on the applicable grounds.

13.2. Grounds for Suspension or Deactivation

myTOYOTA Wallet may suspend or deactivate a User’s Wallet in any of the following cases:

  • a. Compromised Account – when unauthorized access, attempted account takeover, or any form of security breach is suspected or confirmed.
  • b. User Included in Watchlist – when the User is identified under any regulatory, law‑enforcement, compliance, or internal risk watchlist.
  • c. Unrecognized Transaction – when the User reports a transaction not initiated by them and immediate account action is required.
  • d. Suspicious Transaction – when activities appear unusual, irregular, or inconsistent with the User’s profile and may indicate fraud.
  • e. Transaction Dispute – when a dispute is filed that requires temporary account restriction to allow proper investigation and protect the User.
  • f. Lost Device – when the User reports that the device linked to the Wallet is lost or stolen.
  • g. User Has a New Account – when the User requests suspension or deactivation due to the creation of a new myTOYOTA Wallet account.
  • h. User Will No Longer Use the Application (Deactivation Request) – when the User voluntarily requests account discontinuation and service deactivation.
  • i. Others (Suspension or Deactivation) – other circumstances where suspension or deactivation is necessary to comply with laws, regulations, or internal risk‑management guidelines.

14. Proprietary Rights

14.1. Account Holder(s) understand(s), acknowledge(s) and agree(s) that TFSPH owns, controls and/or the licensee of the following:

  • (i) all proprietary rights to the Services.
  • (ii) all material and information, such as but not limited to text, graphics, visual/user interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, artwork, computer code, design, structure, selection, coordination, which shall not be copied, reproduced, adapted, modified, translated, encoded, republished, uploaded, posted, published, publicly performed, publicly displayed, distributed, or transmitted over public networks and in various media, to any other computer, server, website or other medium for publication or distribution or for any commercial enterprise, without TFSPH's express prior written consent.

15. Trademark

15.1. Any and all trademarks, trade names, service name/mark shall remain in the property of its respective owner/holder.

16. Non-Waiver of Rights

16.1. The failure of TFSPH to require strict compliance by the Account Holder(s) with any of the Terms and Conditions herein provided and/or to exercise its right(s) and/or remedies under the law shall not operate as a waiver of such or any of the rights of TFSPH, unless made in writing and communicated to the Account Holder(s).

17. myTOYOTA Wallet Privacy Policy

17.1. Account Holder(s) understand(s), acknowledge(s), and agree(s) the Privacy Policy of myToyotaWallet as provided through the following link: www.toyotafinancial.ph/mytoyotawallet/privacy-policy
